Created in anticipation of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Inertia designed and produced the campaign films & social content for the athlete focused ASICS Metarange.
Inviting the world onto home soil, the campaign embraced ASICS Japanese heritage underpinned by a symbolic rising sun, representing energy and positive action.
Creative exploration combined with intricate CGI allowed us to visualise key features of the products, embracing both literal and abstract ways of relaying these to the audience.
Capturing textures, materials and fabric from the physical products allowed us to push photo-realism to the next level. 3D scans of each shoe were captured, which our talented team of artists refined and built upon to create fully formed CGI products.
