Royal Kingdom
Dream

Following the success of their debut puzzle game Royal Match, Dream Games faced the strategic challenge of launching a sequel that was bigger in every sense. Royal Kingdom expanded the franchise with an entirely new world, seven distinct characters, PvP gameplay and deeper narrative progression. The campaign needed to do more than launch a new title, it needed to establish an emotional connection with audiences from the very first moment.
The brief called for a suite of 60- and 30-second anamorphic campaigns that would introduce the game's hero characters through a collection of highly entertaining vignettes. Each story needed to communicate personality while hinting at gameplay mechanics, iconic objects, environments and the competitive energy that defines Royal Kingdom.

The creative challenge lay in balancing storytelling with spectacle. Every scene had to perform as a compelling short animation while also exploiting the unique visual possibilities of large-format anamorphic 3D screens in landmark locations. Characters needed to convey distinct personalities and feel credible at architectural scale, with performances that remained readable from multiple viewing angles and distances, all while delivering theatrical beyond-the-screen moments.

Our artists meticulously developed the five hero characters, refining facial expressions, body language and comedic timing to create instantly recognisable personalities. Every interaction was carefully choreographed to deliver moments of surprise, humour and charm, allowing audiences to connect with a character before introducing the next one.

Drawing on Inertia's technical and creative expertise in anamorphic storytelling, we designed richly detailed 3D environments that seamlessly transitioned between narrative beats and visual spectacle.
Utilizing dynamic character choreography, layered with game board reactions, magical power-ups and match-3 puzzle mechanics, we precisely engineered eye-popping illusions that transformed each billboard into a theatrical stage.
The resulting launch campaign was packed with memorable character introductions, high-energy performances, and shareable 3D moments, establishing Royal Kingdom with the same sense of scale, personality and entertainment that has come to define Dream Games’ franchise. Royal Kingdom launched in late 2024, on flagship screens in London, Tokyo and New York City.
